Led by Professor Ayano Kataoka, the Percussion Studio at the UMass Amherst Department of Music & Dance performs a challenging variety of music by composers such as Steve Reich, John Cage, Gardner Read, Iannis Xenakis, Lukas Ligeti and Carlos Chavez.
